Dennis DeYoung to Host Parnellis “Dennis is an inventive pioneer, and as Styx’s front man and founder, he was the creative mind behind their most theatrical and visually groundbreaking shows,” says Kevin Mitchell, Parnelli producer/writer. “He was deeply involved in bringing Styx’s concept albums to life in a theatrical setting. LAS VEGAS—The Parnelli Awards Board of Directors announces that Richard Belliveau will receive the Parnelli Visionary Innovator Award acknowledging his astonishing career in the live entertainment industry. Belliveau is a prolific inventor and designer, holds over 100 patents, and continues to invent and create dazzling products today for High End Systems, a member of the Barco Group. So far the Laser Chorus, Dataflash, Intellabeam, Emulator, Cyberlight, Studio Color, Trackspot, Technobeam, x.Spot, DL.1 through DL.3, Showgun, and Showpix are just a few of his many contributions to lighting and video.
