Parnelli Awards Announce NextGen Nominees
For the 19th Annual Parnelli Awards, the Board of Advisors decided to add an award – The Parnelli NextGen. “We set out to feature individuals in the live event business, who while they haven’t been in the industry more than half their life, have already made a mark,” explains PLSN Editor Nook Schoenfeld. “These nominees are the next crop of rising stars destined to be household names.”
These are this year’s nominees, and one will be presented the NextGen at the awards gala on Jan. 17 at the Hilton in Anaheim
Henry Bordeaux came to L.A. by way of Jacksonville, FL. Tour manager for Tyler the Creator, he has also worked with Nick Jonas, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus and Avicii.
Kat Covell is an L.A. based lighting designer and video programmer who has recently worked with Coheed and Cambria. She has a long history working with ACT as well as lending her expertise to multiple episodic television shows.
Andrew Crow hails from Wisconsin and is both a production manager and monitor engineer. He has recently worked with Rob Thomas and previously worked with Matchbox 20, Stone Temple Pilots and Dropkick Murphys.
Amanda Davis is an Atlanta, GA-based FOH engineer currently working with Tegan and Sara as well as Janelle Monáe. She is also the founder of Line Check! Women in Live Production.
Wayne Kwiatt is a production manager out of Denver, CO who has recently worked with Anderson .Paak and previously worked with Shakira, Kings of Leon and Coldplay.
Shaheem Litchmore is a lighting designer/programmer from Queens, NY. He has recently worked with Tyler the Creator and previously worked with Jennifer Lopez.
Max McDougall hails from Fergus Falls, MN and is a lighting designer who has taken care of Puerto Rican Reggaeton act Bad Bunny. He’s also worked with Post Malone and, recently, Tyler the Creator.
Nick O’Bryen is a video director and PM out of California. Through his work with Screenworks, he has added his talent to Coachella, Bonnaroo, Ultra Music Festival and other large festivals in the country.
Eric Price is a Chicago based lighting designer whose recent work has been with Taking Back Sunday. He has previously worked with Thrice and Skinny Puppy.
Jacopo Ricci is a lighting designer who calls Italy home. He has recently worked with popular European pop song/rap artist Fedez.
