Parnelli Awards Nominations Announced

Rolling Stones Tour Leads with 7 Technical Nominations
Morgan Wallen and AJR Receives 6, Megan Thee Stallion and Green Day 4

LAS VEGAS – The Parnelli Awards Board of Advisors has announced this year’s individual and company nominees for concert touring and live events work. Tabulating nominations from industry professionals, these “Grammys for Roadies” honor the work of those backing some of the year’s biggest tours.

The most backstage nominations, by tour, include The Rolling Stones (seven), Morgan Wallen and AJR (six), AC/DC and Green Day (five); and Megan Thee Stallion (four). Other concert treks with multiple nominations include Bad Bunny, Billy Strings, Cage The Elephant, Chris Stapleton, Def Leppard, Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, Jelly Roll, Madonna, Noah Kahan, Phish, Sammy Hagar, Justin Timberlake, the Killers, and Tyler Childers.

Since 2001 the Parnelli Awards has honored the creatives and technicians who work on tours, awarding Production Designers, Lighting Designers, FOH Engineers, Monitor Engineers, Production Managers, and Tour Managers, among other disciplines, with a total of 26 awards categories. There are also three honors to mark remarkable and innovative backstage careers: the Lifetime Achievement, Visionary and Audio Innovator awards.

The 23^rd Annual Parnelli Awards will take place January 24^th at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel during the NAMM Show. Subscribers to FOH or PLSN magazines can vote here.
