20th Annual Parnelli Awards to Take Place June 3, 2022 in Anaheim, CA

LAS VEGAS – The Parnelli Board of Advisors has announced that the Parnelli Awards will happen Friday June 3, 2022 in Anaheim, CA in partnership with the NAMM Show. The live event award show will take place in 2022 after being cancelled in January 2021 because of the pandemic.

At the 19th Annual Show, Garth Brooks surprised Visionary Honoree Michael Strickland by showing up to present him his award.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be in the planning stages for what will be our 20^th celebration of the live event industry,” said Terry Lowe, executive producer and publisher of PLSN and FRONT of HOUSE magazines. “Business is back strong, and we have much to celebrate. After that long shutdown, everyone is looking forward to the gathering of the tribe to socialize, network, and award those who have done exception work.” Lowe adds that while there may be a few minor differences from a typical Parnelli Awards, it will still hand out individual awards and give three lifetime achievement awards to professionals who have made a lasting impact. These three honorees will be announced next month.

The NAMM show itself is also making plans to be back to normal as well, and will run from June 3-5, 2022. PLSN and FOH magazine teams are also starting to make plans for staging some seminars and workshops as they have in the past. In lieu of getting together in person last year, the Parnelli Awards celebrated with a special video, Keep the Torch Lit – 20 Years of Defining Excellence, which is still available for viewing here.
