Sponsors Embrace Second Year of Parnelli Awards at NAMM

Forward-thinking Companies New and Old Sign Up for the Industry Party

Plans are well underway for what will be the 2019 Parnelli Awards, and the momentum for this year’s show is already palpable. “It’s an exciting time for all of us on the Parnelli production team as we build on last year’s successful show,” says Terry Lowe, Parnelli Awards Executive Producer and publisher of PLSN/FOH magazines. “We’re especially grateful that so many past sponsors are returning to make it all possible. And it’s exciting to see new sponsors come aboard as well. These are all forward-thinking companies who know that receiving a Parnelli Award is the live event’s highest honor.”

One new sponsor is a relatively innovative special effects company based in San Diego, CryoFX. They are on-board as a Silver Sponsor. “As a business owner in the live entertainment industry, supporting the industry shows you care, and so it’s important to give back as much if not more than you get,” says CryoFX CEO/Founder Kris Mullins. “Sponsoring the Parnelli Awards is a big deal! In addition to giving back, you get your name out in front of key companies. For newer companies, it makes a statement that you’re not the small guy on the block any more.”

For a third year in a row, Group One Ltd. (Avolites/DiGiCo) returns in the top-tier Platinum spot. “Our industry is really about people,” says Group One President Jack Kelly. “The Parnelli Awards is our chance to share our sincere appreciation for the hard working professionals that inspire us every day with their creativity, passion, and commitment.”

The Parnelli Awards will also once again be supported by production partners including Access Event Solutions, Atomic, Green Hippo and TPI. Those stepping up as Cocktail Sponsors include Chauvet Professional and TLS Productions. And Pyrotek Special Effects also returns as the after-party sponsor.

“We’re looking forward to Pyrotek once again throwing one of their spectacular after-show parties,” Lowe says. “While it’s important that for one night a year we turn the mic and spotlight on our talented professionals who make live events a great experience for audiences all over the world, it’s also a rich networking opportunity. The before and after parties are almost as important to many as the show itself.”

The three Parnelli Awards honoring career achievement are going out to Chris Adamson (Lifetime Achievement Award); Yvan Miron (Visionary Award) and Brock Adamson (Audio Innovator – no relation to Chris).
